THE CREATOR OF "THE AMERICAN DREAM"
So to begin with the next Blog this blog is gonna be about my idol.... This was a pretty confusing situation when I thought of writing about one person as idol cause I've literally had many people in my life from whom I've tried to learn something or Idolize from Rumi,Gabriel Marquez,Martin Scorsese to Steven Spielberg , Arnold Schwarzenegger,Oprah,etc...! So I finally decided on the name of person who's life is an Elite example of willpower, hard work and dedication. He is none other that Sylvester "Sly" Stallone..
Sylvester Gardenzio "Sly" Stallone was born in Manhattan, New York. His family moved to Washington, D.C., before settling in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Due to complications at birth, Sly was born with paralysis in some parts of his face, which resulted in a permanent slur of his speech. His father was a hairdresser and his mother was a dancer. His parents frequently fought and later divorced.
Growing up, Sly did not perform well in school. He was expelled three times. He also attended a special school for troubled children. After high school, Sly attended Miami State University to study drama, but dropped out and moved to New York to pursue an acting career. He always wanted to become an actor in movies to inspire people around the world to overcome their struggles, much like he was doing with his own life. To make ends meet, Sly worked all kinds of jobs, including cleaning lions' cages at the Central Park Zoo and ushering at a movie theater. Having been evicted from his apartment and homeless for several weeks, often sleeping in the Port Authority Bus Tunnel.
Many agents refused to cast him saying he had "dumb look" because of his Injury he had .He even had to sell his bestfriend (his dog) to get money for food. Once when he was walking on Street and saw the fight of Muhammad Ali and Chuck whepner where the Underdog, Chuck knocked out the legend, Ali..The where he was inspired to write Rocky 1 and that was the turning moment of his life but he also had a lot of struggle in getting the producers as he wanted to play Rocky cause he wrote it for himself.. But finally when Rocky was released it became a big time box-office crusher. The film won Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Film Editing at the 1976 Academy Awards, with ten overall nominations.. The Overall Rocky series was super Successful.
The thing that inspired me the most about Sylvester Stallone is what I would answer with his own Quote " I'm not the richest, smartest or the most talented person in the world, but I succeeded because I kept going and going and going "..His never Give up Attitude, His determination to became the Actor even though everyone said him to give up and His dedication to keep working hard till getting success are the some of his qualities we all should learn from him..!
Here I End the Blog and Thank you all for giving your time. Will be back again with another new Blog..!
